Most electrical work falls into five jobs. Installation, where cables and back boxes go in before the plaster (first fix) and socket outlets, switches and light fittings go on after decorating (second fix). Alterations, like an extra socket outlet spurred off a ring final circuit, or a new outside light. Fault-finding on a tripping RCD or a dead circuit. Inspection and testing of what is already there. Certification, because every job ends with a document.

The order on site rarely changes. We isolate and prove dead first, then install or repair, then test. Continuity of protective conductors, insulation resistance, polarity, earth fault loop impedance and RCD trip times all get measured and written onto your certificate.

Our electricians are qualified to BS 7671, the wiring regulations, and Norspark is NAPIT registered, so notifiable work is certified and notified for you. Callout is £120 + VAT Mon-Fri 8am-6pm with the first hour of labour included. Quotes for planned work are free.
